OSU Alumni Tailgate Party at the Spring Football Game
Come have your photo taken April 25 with Chic Harley during the Tailgate Party of the Franklin County Alumni Club. We will pose you with the lifesize cut-out of OSU's famous football player. Pick up a free "Chic" t-shirt while supplies last.

You can also meet Todd Wessell, Chic's great nephew and author of "The One & Only", the new book about Chic's life. We will be there from 10 a.m. up to game time. Look for us in the parking lot at the main stadium entrance. The Spring Game of the OSU Varsity Team starts at 1:30 p.m.

Chicagoland Book Launch Party
6pm to 8pm at the Hilton Garden Inn
Come celebrate the release of the book The One And Only with all the Chicagoland fans! This will be the place to be if you are a Chic Harley fan or love football history! There is no charge to attend the event. Free refreshments & cash bar. Books purchased for the discounted price of $27.95 will be personally signed by Wessell. Proceeds will be dedicated to a fitting tribute to Harley. Free Harley t-shirts will be given away to book purchasers while they last.

National Sports Collectors Convention
Four Chic Harley enthusiasts will be attending the annual National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland, Ohio this weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1 at the IX Center. It is the latest in a series of spring, summer and fall appearance by the Chic Harley team promoting the newly released full length biography, The One And Only - Chic Harley, America's Great Athlete, of Ohio State's first and greatest football player. The team's booth will be located right next to the Autograph area where some of the most notable names in modern day sport will be signing autographs for the estimated 25,000 attendees.
The Chic Harley team will be accompanied by two life-size cut-outs of Harley along with t-shirts, DVDs, and other promotional materials, as well as a large supply of the 314-page hardcover book authored by Harley's great nephew, Todd Wessell.
Ohio State 1955 Heisman Trophy winner Hopalong Cassady is expected to make an appearance at the booth where Wessell and his brother, Bob Wessell, and Mary ALice Wenzl, will present him with a rare, family picture of he and Chic, taken in 1955. On the photo are enscribed the words "Ohio State's two greatest players" along with their autographs.

College Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend
Join the Chic Harley team at the annual Enshrinement Festival at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, IN. This event is a must for any football fan! Parades, concerts, rallies, fireworks, and numerous activities await. Todd Wessell, author of The One And Only: Chic Harley - America's Great Athlete, will be giving presentations on Chic Harley on Friday at 7:00pm, and Saturday at 2:30pm in the exhibit hall, and he will be doing meet-and-greet book signings in the bookstore. For every book sold we will be giving away Chic t-shirt and DVD while supplies last. More info at the College Football Hall Of Fame Website.

Todd Wessell and representatives from East High School will be hosting a press conference about the Chic Harley Memorial project at 11am on Friday, August 14th. East High School and the Chic Harley team are working together in a fundraiser restore the "Harley Field" memorial at the East High School football field, as well as put together several more Chic Harley Memorial activities in and around the Columbus area. This is a very exciting time for the Chic Harley team and we are looking forward to sharing it with football enthusiasts everywhere.
